RALLY HEADQUARTERS and ACCOMMODATIONS

--SEARCH 2004 HAS BEEN CANCELLED-- 

The Hampton Inn, 328 Main St.  (Mass. Route 131), Sturbridge, Mass., will serve as the Rally Headquarters and the Start/Finish location for The Search for The Great Pumpkin.    A small block of overnight rooms will be held until September 17, 2004; $69., double-double plus tax;   a continental breakfast is included.  Call directly at 508-347-6466 and mention New England Region of Sports Car Club of America for the special rate.  Alternate accommodations nearby include Comfort Inn (508) 347-3306 & Best Western (508) 347-9121.  

All rally-related activities at the Hampton Inn will be in the Galonek Meeting Room.

Entrants must perform vehicle inspection for conformity to required equipment standards in Regs, Page 7.

         7:30 – 9:00 p.m.      Registration in Galonek Meeting Room

All minors under 18 MUST present a Minor Release signed by BOTH parents (guardians).  Signatures MUST be witnessed by ADULT SCCA member or notary public.

Saturday, October 2, 2004

         7:00 – 8:30 a.m.       Registration in Galonek Meeting Room          

         7:31 a.m.                    Car 1 receives Route Instructions Galonek Meeting

         8:11 a.m.                    Car 1 begins The Search     

    ~ 10:26 a.m.                   Car 1 arrives at morning break

    ~ 12:10 p.m.                   Car 1 arrives at lunch break

          1:01 p.m.                   Car 1 continues Searching

    ~    2:40 p.m.                   Car 1 arrives at afternoon break

    ~    4:00 p.m.                   Car 1 arrives at the final control

    ~    4:02 p.m.                   Car 1 arrives at the Hampton Inn

    ~    5:00 p.m.                   Sandwich, salads, desserts,  and soft drinks buffet hosted by the Rally Committee

    ~    5:45 p.m.                   Awards in Galonek Meeting Room
